~Shout out to Rosa Fernandez and our wonderful Parent Volunteers for receiving the GOLD Seal of Excellence Award and $400 at the Seal of Excellence Ceremony on Friday!
~Shout out to Janie Martinez for working alongside Rosa to get parent classes an other initiatives going this year!
~Did you know... Our GOLD Award winning Volunteer, Maria Belen Perez volunteered 755 hours?! That is almost 5 months of volunteering at 40 hours per week! AND our SILVER Award winning volunteer, Maria (Carmen) Ortega volunteered 509 hours this year! That is over THREE months at 40 hours per week! (and I think there are unaccounted hours in there!) WOW! Words cannot express how grateful we are for these two ladies and all they do for our school.
~Shout out to 3rd-5th grade teachers for making it through STAAR week. YAY! We are proud of all of your hard work! Also, big shout out to K-2 teachers for all the support and quiet hallways!
