Week at a Glance Nov 6-10, 2017

Bulldog Squad-

Happy November! TWO more weeks to be amazing for kids until a well deserved break! This week, we will begin encouraging you (even more) to learn from one another with the Pineapple Board!  I will send a follow up email explaining how we will use the board.

The Pineapple board is an idea that has been with me since last year. I waited too long to start it. Waiting for the right time, nervous about the reception, etc. But I realized that it was just time to TRY. I am excited about the possibilities!

I challenge you this week to think about what will REV up student learning. What are some ideas that you have wanted to try but have been scared to do just do it? Go for it!

IMPACT comes from ACTION,
~Sanders

1. Shout Out to Ms. Gray for hanging awesome student art all across the building! It makes the building so inviting-and kids get to see their artwork everywhere they go! #aboveandbeyond
2.Thank you  Jeri Bailey  for your awesome KINDNESS tweets!
3. Shout out to Rice, Orton, and Wells for writing an ICE award application with a short turn-around time!
4. WHOOP WHOOP goes to EVERYONE that is getting reading and gearing up for JHCr8! It takes planning to make it smooth and we are hearing some great ideas!
5. Shout out to all the staff and students  for collecting over 600 pairs of socks! WOW!!! We are taking them to the shelter tomorrow.

  • Walk-through focus this week will be how you are fostering relationships with students, problem solving/number talks in math, and guided reading.
